Another month has passed us by and with it came many wonderful memories. Isabel had her first Easter which was made even more special with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Meinweiser. She didn't get much out of the day but she sure did love having all of the extra attention! Mimi and Pop also came for a visit but unfortunetely she was sick for most of the weekend with a double ear infection. Thankfully she was still her happy, smiley self for the most part. This month Izzy learned to roll from her tummy to her back! She just loves being on her playmat and discovering all of the toys hanging above her. She is really starting to notice objects and people around her and will smile at who ever looks her way. She seems to be completely in love with her big brother! She's constantly looking for him and starts to squeal as soon as he pays her any attention.
She is doing fairly well eating solids although she refuses to eat any vegetables for me. She will eat them consistently from her teachers at school, but not from Mommy! We are still breastfeeding and I am hoping to get to the 6 month mark...we'll see! We recently transitioned her to her crib and she seems to be doing fairly well in it. She gets up occasionally around 1-2, but for the most part she is such a good sleeper! She recently hit the 13lb mark which made me very happy! She is so tiny compared to Caden and I would really like some more meat on those bones!
Overall she is an amazing baby, so calm and extremely happy. I love her more and more every day!
