August 2009...
We took a wonderful trip to the New Jersey shore to visit with my friend Lacey and her family. Caden had a blast on the ferry ride and really seemed to take to Lacey's dad who he now refers to as "Uncle Tony". He enjoyed playing on the beach and receiving the extra attention from Lacey's wonderful family. I was in my fifth month of pregnancy and it was around this time that Caden contracted Fifth's disease. We had many ultrasounds to check on Isabel who appeared to be doing okay, they just wanted to monitor the fluid that they saw in her tummy. Thankfully all turned out just fine (obviously) and I got quite a few extra ultrasounds out the ordeal!
