After much discussion we decided to get Caden a fish to teach him some responsibility. He was so excited to go to the pet store and pick out a fish of his very own! He decided on a blue beta fish and he named him, Tiger. Caden did a fantastic job feeding him every morning and every night. We put him on his nightstand so that they could "sleep together". Unfortunately Tiger passed away 2 days after we got him. Caden seemed to be very upset but didn't quite understand why Tiger couldn't sleep with him last night. I asked him if he wanted to get another fish and he quickly responded, "Yes, please." So next weekend we will head back out to the pet store but this time we are going to try a goldfish...I heard they are much easier to take care of. Tiger, here one day and gone the next

Aww! Poor fish!..and poor Caden! that's just horrible!
ReplyDeleteOlivia has a baby turtle..her name is Sophie...she's had it for almost a year now..
At first she was very good with her, but now Sophie is lucky if Olivia even looks at her! ha ha!
Good thing it doesn't bother at all!
