A Beautiful Weekend

It's not often that you get to spend the majority of the weekend outside in January...so we took full advantage of it!

I swear...these kids would live outside if we let them! We left work early on Friday and picked up Grandma and Grandpa from the airport. They picked a great weekend to get out of the subzero temperatures of Buffalo NY! We spent the majority of the afternoon outside in the cul-de-sac trying to teach Caden to ride his bike (once again we were not successful). Izzy enjoyed running up and down the street playing chase with Caden and I.
Sunday the weather was even more beautiful so we packed up the kids and headed to the park! This was the first time that Isabel could actually enjoy the playground being that she was so little last spring and summer...and let me tell you this girl DID NOT want to leave! She threw a full-out temper tantrum as we were walking to the car, one of those "Wow, whose kid is that" kind of temper tantrums! Caden also had a blast playing with Daddy and his Grandparents on the "big boy" side of the playground!

                                                  

All in all, it was a fantastic weekend! Until next time...
